Welcome to    Statistics: Making Sense of Data   by    William Stout, John Marden and Kenneth Travers     This statistics courseware combines an introductory text, simulation tools, graphical and analytical software, and lab exercises in a single package using the web and Microsoft Excel. Setting up your system should take about 5-15 minutes.     Step 1: To be able to read the .PDF files in this courseware, download Acrobat Reader (this will check to see if you have it and, if you don't, download it for you).     Step 2: Download the Box Sampler simulation add-in for Excel (includes statistical analysis tools and graphical software).     Step 3: Adjust your setting so that Excel files will open in Excel, rather than in your browser where some toolbar functions are not available.
